Bastille – Still Avoiding Tomorrow

World Tour 2019 January, 2019

For this years’ Bastille ‘Still Avoiding Tomorrow’ 2019 European tour RCM specified Panasonic RZ31K laser projectors to deliver the content. These are the smallest, lightest projectors on the market and they give the desired levels of brightness, making them ideal for touring. The laser chip technology gives consistent 30,000 lumen brightness and high resolution clear, sharp images. RCM also provided media servers and two MALighting GrandMA2 Light consoles.

The scenic set included three metallic set with tears on the wall – made with multiple layers of crinkly metallic mesh. In advance of the tour RCM undertook in-house test projections on to the metal mesh surfaces as it was an unusual surface to project on.
