Project Overview

Activating the Facebook Live Studio at House Festival

Facebook Live Studio August, 2017

Marble Hill House in Twickenham was transformed on 7th July for the 10th annual House Festival. This celebrates the best and brightest in House music, benefiting charity partners English Heritage and War Child and was the set of a special activation for Facebook Live.

Facebook wanted a bespoke live platform to showcase its Facebook Live video streaming, so turned to agency Fullcircle for production and we assisted by deploying our Hashtag Live solution to facilitate the live streaming.

We designed the physical facade that the videos would be displayed on to look like a giant iPhone and created custom content so that the feed displayed like a Facebook timeline. Facebook Live videos and Instagram Boomerang posts were displayed throughout the day with our custom feed auto scrolling and pausing to display each video in full. The appeal of seeing them on a big screen encouraged more people to post, therefore transmitting to a virtual audience for a bigger impact on reach.

A Facebook Live mini-studio was also created within the space for which we provided professional lighting and audio. Interviews and vox pops were captured throughout the one-day festival and broadcast via Facebook Live using an iPhone 6S as the studio camera.
